Deep Fried Dictionary: Bolognese Sauce

Bolognese Sauce: Meat sauce; Italian

Pretty much means a hearty and chunky meat sauce. As with most Italian pasta sauces, everyone has their own recipe and variation, but beef is typically a main ingredient as is a little bit of tomato (in whatever form) and onion. Red sauces aren’t my favorite, so I do not know for a fact but I SUSPECT there are some amazing Bolognese recipes out there.
